Hummus paprykowy doskonały na Euro. | Roasted pepper hummus.
EURO2016 has started and I'm really sorry for all of people that are not football (soccer) fans. I have to admit here that even though I'm not fanatic about footer, during event like Euro or World Cup I watch our Polish team games and cross my fingers for them. Of course I'm complete laywoman about football but the truth is that Polish team hasn't been that stron for aged so finally we have someone to cheer on. So for good watching except from cold beer I also need snacks. That's why I prepared paprika hummus on this occasion. Good think about it is that you can prepare it during half-time (if only you roast paprika before the game). So here it is: fast, healthy, filing snack for any sport games.
Wash red pepper, dry it, cut into 3 or 4 pieces, place in small casserole dish. Peel garlic, cut into halves, add do paprika, sprinkle it with a bit of olive oil, add herbs, salt and pepper, then roast in the oven for around 20 minutes in 200°C, then let it cool. Put cooked chickpeas into hand blender container, add tahini paste, lemon juice, roasted pepper and garlic, 1-2 tbsp of olive oil and blend it until smooth (add some cold water during blending). Put your hummus into a bowl, sprinkle with some olive oil and favourite additions like chopped corriander, smoked paprika, chopped chilli with olive oil, nigella seeds or black sesame, serve with fresh bread, grissini or crackers.
